Apr. 30, Thurs. - Wait an extra second before responding in all your conversations today

It's a pregnant pause. It might seem awkward. It may add some funny (funny-what?)It may also help you listen. It may even make the heavy talkers realize how much they've droned on and beat you over the head with their neverending...

    i work in an office environment with lots o' yappin. it's a communications industry so that makes sense. conversations start to get rapid fire and that's when the "talking over" begins. i found this one tough because sometimes ideas just push an instinctual "blurt" button in us. but it forced some concentration and inspired some patience. i was hoping for more funny-pause moments, but i was the only one in on the joke.
